Pain Management Specialist
Alisa Vroman joined Northeast Pain Management in 2023, bringing over two decades of experience in patient care and a strong commitment to advancing the field of pain management. She has been caring for patients since 2002 and providing anesthesia since 2009. Alisa is triple board certified in Anesthesia, Non-Surgical Pain Management, and Adult-Geriatric Primary Care.
She earned her Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) and completed a fellowship in Acute Surgical Pain Management at the Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia in 2021. Subsequently, she completed an Advanced Pain Management Fellowship at Texas Christian University in 2022 and earned her certification as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner through Chamberlain University in 2023.
Her prior training includes a Nurse Anesthetist Certificate from Truman Medical Center School of Nurse Anesthesia and a Master of Arts in Biology from the University of Missouri–Kansas City, both completed in 2009. She began her academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central Methodist College in 2002.
Alisa is dedicated to delivering individualized, evidence-based care to help patients enhance their quality of life. She firmly believes that by attentively listening to her patients, she can better understand their needs and support them throughout their pain management journey.
Outside of work, Alisa enjoys spending time outdoors fishing, hiking, and being with her husband, Eric, and their 13-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Chloe.
